Destination D.C.

Today Ben and I went to the Natural History Museum to wrap up our lessons on rocks and minerals and Egyptians. I convinced (quite easily) my friend Christie to pull her son out of public school to join us. After a very long delay leaving Shady Grove for 'a sick passenger' we were finally on the way. I actually forgot about my camera most of the day, but I did get a few shots.

Ben and Mathis ready to roll!

Tuckered Out

Ben really could have cared less on most of the items. After we finished there we went to the American History Museum and to the war and politics exhibit. I had full attention there and he was so excited. He just LOVES to study the wars. He is always rattling off facts about the Civil War and asking if we can study it more. Guess I'll be doing the American Revolution next!

In other news, we finally got our tree decorated.

We had a bit of 'grouping' going on
