Candy and Belly Aches

On Sunday after the birthday party Nathan took a power nap back home to pick up Daddy, Nicholas and Ben - who had not napped.  We headed out knowing there was going to be serious melt downs at some point in the evening - pjs packed? check!

They had all kinds of activities -from a moonbounce to soccer - it was crazy. Every time Nicholas got a piece of candy he ate it. Nathan and Ben put theirs in their buckets. Nicholas was very upset at the end of the night when the boys sat down to eat candy and his bucket was empty. A very hard lesson. Needless to say, Nicholas had a belly ache all night - it was awful. I guess Sam and I just didn't realize how much he really had. We are usually much better about keeping an eye on those things.

Here the boys are racing to eat the donut on the string. Too funny. You can hear Daddy cheering them on.

Next it was Nicholas' turn. He wasn't messing around.

On Monday night we headed to our friends Christie and Dave's to hit up their neighborhood. I had to work that day so the boys had gone to daycare and did not nap - and not for lack of trying. Here was my view as we pulled into our friends driveway.

Don't worry, they perked up!
