Last week a semi got stuck in the very wet / soft grass in front of the house. It took them 3hrs to get the truck 'un' stuck. Lets just say, it was a VERY exciting afternoon for the boys. They were beside themselves with joy at the truckers bad luck.
The next day was a big day for Nicolas - he got a hair cut. Well, it wasn't planned. Sam was in the kitchen and heard Ben say, "You better go show that to Daddy". Nicholas came in with a car stuck to his head. Unable to separate the two, scissors were called in to duty. Luckily it doesn't really show. Here is what remains of evidence from the fiasco.
I forgot to post this attempt at a partial family photo on the hay ride! Nicholas was too busy checking things out.
Here are some photos of pumpkin carving.
I think Nicholas' face says it all!
This picture was actually taken this morning vs the others from our Sunday afternoon carving pumpkin. Amongst the pumpkin carnage is Ben still going to town. He carved pretty much all day and there is nothing really remains of his first pumpkin. I was like, Ben, I was going to put a candle in it but now I can't. His answer? "But I'm having fun Mom, that's all that counts right?"
And a note for Jenn - when Ben got this hat his comment was "It's just like Aidens!"
A quick shot of Ben doing his Art lesson and Nathan working on his Pre-K workbook while Nicholas naps.
Like I said - a little bit of everything!
