All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth -- And a Molasses Cookie

Nicholas's Christmas wish came true as he woke up the other morning with his two bottom front teeth. Other than that the only news is that I feel like all I've been doing is baking. I have delivered 12 cookie tins now to the neighbors and such and then had to make more so we had some in our house.

Staying with the Taylor family tradition, his first cookie was to be a Molasses cookie. As his first birthday (gasp) is sneaking up, we thought now was as good a time as ever. Here is the photo log of his first bite of something sugary.

Gee Daddy, what ya got there?

I best inspect it first.

Hmm, maybe I'll suck on it for awhile

Chewy....

I'm really not so sure about this whole thing.

In the end he didn't seem to really want it. I guess Nathan will be our only sugar freak in the house.

The boys enjoyed helping cut out the Molasses and Sugar cookies. Please don't mind my mad scientist hair - or that the boys are still in their PJs and this was at 4pm. It was cold and snowy, no need to get dressed up!

My dishwasher isn't working, but that's ok - I have Ben! (Enjoy your cookies :0 )
