End of the Season

Yesterday was the final tournament for Ben and soccer. I had mixed feelings - joy that we don't have to run around to soccer anymore and the feeling that summer has really started. Then sorrow because I really will miss watching him play.

It was CRAZY hot out and the kids played from 8:30am till 1:30pm. Needless to say, they were hot and tired by time it was over. We did not make it to the finals. Ben's team dominated every game and had tons of shots, but they just didn't luck out with any goals.

Being silly with his teammates. You won't see patches on Ben's shirts as I have 3 more kids coming through that will need the very expensive Under Armor brand uniform. At the end of each season, we frame his team photo, a picture of him playing and all his patches.
