Back in Dodge

With our trip north completed it is time to face the disaster of our basement. We came back a few days early, so to everyone (friends, work) we are still on our trip. This gives Sam and I a 4 day weekend with no obligations!

A few pics from the trip - no wedding photos as there were so many cameras going I'm waiting for my CD with all 500+ photos burned onto it.

Bunker Hill Monument - Freedom Trail, Boston

Nicholas very much enjoyed walking on the bricks laid to mark the Freedom Trail

Visit to the U.S.S Constitution

Valley Forge

The boys were so taken by the soldiers winter encampment huts that they have decided our summer project is designing and building one at our house.  Because we need ONE MORE PROJECT......

Washington's place during winter encampment at Valley Forge

Liberty Bell.  While I have a great photo, this one sums up the whole day.  Nathan wasn't feeling well and Nicholas was tormenting Ben. Love it.

Independence Hall

The room that the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed. G. W actually sat in the chair.  We also saw the ink pad that was used by the men to sign the documents. Pretty Cool.
