Mother's Day 2014

While most mom's blogs will be showing lots of photos of their family together, we continued our non-traditional Mother's Day with the boys camping for the weekend with their Dad. Three days to get stuff done - including making curtains for Nicholas' room that I've had the material for since January!

The more folks I talk to the more that express that we actually are doing Mother's Day weekend the right way.  They were all home in the afternoon on Sunday and we hung out and had a nice dinner. Perfect!

The boys had a weekend of fishing. They only caught sunfish though - but it is a start. Ben caught 12 of them!

Nick says the reason he doesn't look happy is it was 'slobbering' over him. 

A long weekend makes for a quite 15min drive home

In other news construction on the play house has begun but is at a snails pace due to, well, everything else!

Currently wood for the floor is being run through the planer.
