Projects the dog won't eat......

After the ill-fated paper mache mask fiasco we moved on to building homes of the natives and other items from their tribes.  Here are the boys war bonnets for the Plains Tribes

Finished product. There wasn't enough stability with the pipe cleaners and feathers so we had to put some cardboard in for support.

 

Nicholas finally decided what he wanted to spend his birthday money on. He was so overwhelmed with Christmas right before his bday so we just put it away. He went lego crazy today.

The third set is still in progress.  He'll finish it tomorrow.

Finished projects. Something to do with Ninjas......He isn't my truck / trailer / boat kid. He likes the ninja / fantasy stuff.

Also forgot to show some pictures of Nick's bedroom. Re-painted and new molding - another room checked off the remodel list!

New paint and - of course - new wall art :-)  I went very neutral as Nicholas has A LOT of stuff.  Still need to go get closet doors.

Can't even tell Sam made this - better than the store!!

Our bedroom and Ben's bedroom are on the list for February, then the big spring project - total downstairs re-do.
