Yes, the Cronkite Family is still going. Wow, what a past month! We closed on the house around June 24th and VBS started on July 14th. Pile onto all of this soccer camp and helping friends with childcare and it made for 2 incredibly crazy weeks! This weekend has been a decompression weekend and attempts to start organizing!
One of the first projects was to tear down old molding and paint. Ben helped Daddy take down all the vent and outlet covers.
Can you say mess? The new color is the green.
Painting and moving is hard work :-) They insisted they did not need naps. This is 4pm. Nathan fell asleep first - then Nicholas got his stuff and joined him.
Ahhhh - organization! (Still need to get molding up and not sure how the pirate ship got into the photo!)
Painting was finished just in time to rev up for VBS.
Sam and our friend Kirk getting the Sanctuary props together
10:00pm - and still a lot of work left to do!
Day 1 - this is just a section of the elementary kids - another groups was doing other activities and 60 preschoolers were at their stations. It was nutty. No photos of the week or closing but we had a staff photographer so I'll get my hands on those soon!
