As you can see, Nicholas still isn't quite sure about it but INSISTED on holding it for the photo. It was so neat as we studied bees & wasps and they were able to see inside to the combs. Can't wait to hang it in our school room in the new house!

It is empty - RIGHT??
When it comes to home education in the Cronkite house, Daddy is in charge of show and tell. We did a unit study on Flying Animals to include everything from birds to insects. While I get to do all the writing assignments, classification charts etc etc Daddy brings home cool old bird's nest. Today he brought home the mother load - a two year old hive.
As you can see, Nicholas still isn't quite sure about it but INSISTED on holding it for the photo. It was so neat as we studied bees & wasps and they were able to see inside to the combs. Can't wait to hang it in our school room in the new house!
