Happy Birthday Nicholas!

My baby is 3 today. Guess he really isn't a baby any more huh? We celebrated yesterday as Ben has basketball practice tonight from 5:30 - 6:30 and Sam is working. When Sam was putting a very tired Nicholas to bed late last night with a full tummy of cake and pizza he yawned and asked him, "Daddy, do I need to be this many to have a flat bed?" (regular bed)- then he held up 3 fingers. Sam was like, "No Nicholas, you need to not poop in your pants anymore.". Nicholas just said "oh" to that and and laid down and went to sleep. :-)

We started the morning with one gift, breakfast and church. Nicholas had picked out his cake the day before at Costco and was very excited that it was cake day.

After church, he had a nap and then woke up to start opening presents.First he opened the pallets with pallet jack we got him to go with the truck he got for Christmas. Daddy showed him how to work it and he quickly had it under control.

He really liked the additional farm items to go with his Christmas stuff from his Aunts. He REALLY likes the pigs. They go everywhere with him and ride in everything while in their cage ( a shipping container that came with the pallet set). He keeps saying, "Mommy, I love my piggies" .

Nicholas was having a great conversation with himself while playing with the barn set but of course, once I started video he stopped. Hopefully you can understand him!

By far the biggest hit was the Playmobile fire truck with boat trailer. Thanks much Nana and Papa!

 And while there was no name on this, I'm going to GUESS it was from Aunt Suzie and Jesse??

We had our friends the Gunter's over to celebrate - our fellow friends with 3 boys that we coop with and play soccer with. Nicholas is the same age as their youngest so it works out well. Always a blast with 6 boys in the house!
