Ben's First Quiz

Today Ben took his first quiz ever.  The program I'm using for Language Arts sets the kids up to be able to do work independently, so he is learning a lot of sigh words in the directions. Therefore, his quiz is completely independent.  It was SOO hard for me to sit there and see him do something wrong and not correct it immediately. He scored a 96/100 with mistakes included mixing up his lowercase b and d (something he continues to struggle with), and putting an upper case N instead of a lower case n.  He did such a good job reading the directions - I was so proud! As soon as I was done grading it (in the 'happy' color of purple versus 'evil' red) he ran upstairs to pin it on the refrigerator.

TS Lee has bogged us down for day number two so we have been stuck inside. Here a few photos of how we have been passing the time. I'm desperately needing a run to burn of the stress of seeing this mess all day!!! Sam just smiles when he sees the mess - I do think he contributed to the 1st lego mess!

I'm not sure if you should get use to the daily post or not. I really want to chronicle our schooling, so we'll see! If your just seeing this one and haven't been to the blog in awhile, take a look at the archives, you may have missed something :-)
