Ben used a marker to draw the face he wanted Daddy to cut out:

Halloween was celebrated on Saturday night here in Brunswick. You have all had a sneak peak at the costumes because I had to put that picture up top. How cute are they!
Nicholas wanted to be a pirate AND a bumblebee.
We loaded up and headed down the street to the Connor's house.
While there, we saw their neighbor who went as the king of the stink bugs. He really put a lot of time and effort into this costume. We got a kick out of it! He drew quite a crowd.
The Cronkite and Connor families ready to go! We had already lost the two oldest Connor kids who were well on their way into town.
Nicholas and Torin had it made. They just rode in the wagon and everyone brought them candy to eat!
After a long night of going door to door, Nathan still had enough energy to pull BEN home - must be the sugar?
A very tired Nicholas
The boys had fun going through their buckets the next morning
On Sunday the boys wore their costumes into Frederick since it was the real Halloween. Nicholas decided he needed a costume change. I mean, you don't want to be seen wearing the same thing two days in a row, do you?
