Woods, Water and Monster Trucks

Well I know it has been awhile since I blogged, not for lack of time but for lack of anything interesting. We haven't done much here because of the HEAT. Did I mention it's a tad bit warm here?

On Saturday we said, ok, so we have had it with the staying inside, we are going to venture out in 106° weather. Why not? So we decided to head to the trail and try to hike to the river for a swim. Well, after two wrong paths we finally made it. The boys were in great spirits and having a blast so it made us all in good spirits. Sadly, the water was hot tub temperature, so much for cooling off.

On Sunday Sam and Ben went to the Monster Truck Jam in Hagerstown. It rained the whole time but they still had fun. It wasn't like it was a cold rain :-).


The other two boys slept most of the afternoon and Mommy canned tomatoes. Tis the season. This past weekend was spaghetti sauce, next weekend is salsa.
