The ride down was fantastic. We left at 7pm Wednesday night and stopped to have breakfast Thursday morning at 6am and we were only 1 1/2hrs from St. Augustine. Nathan slept the whole way, Ben was off and on and Nicholas slept for about 1hr. He was happy, just awake! I think it was because he was in the 2nd row middle instead of last row side and could see out the windshield. We had a full moon and made good time. And oh yeah, THANK GOODNESS FOR PLANET EARTH DVD SERIES. What a hit. I could hear Nicholas in the back going "Moose".
Stopped for breakfast at the Waffle House and couldn't pass up this photo op. A glance at my future perhaps?
On Saturday when we got there Sam and I had our much anticipated ALONE Day. It was SOOO wonderful. We decided to do something exciting and went Parasailing. It was awesome and we were ready to go up again when we came down. The hour boat ride on the ocean was almost as exciting as the parasailing. The captain had some fun with us :-)
Our Ride
Getting Ready to Go!
The picture of the folks in the sky are the ones that went before us.
The kids loved the ocean. Ben spent most of the time riding his bike through the waves. Nathan liked to chase Ben. Nicholas just liked to dig in the sand and fill the hole with water than sit in it!
Ben and Nathan took turns riding in Mammy's convertible.
Tuckered out after a day at the beach.
Don't worry, this was at the Alligator Farm, not the river!
Sam did some tree work at his folks house and the boys got to 'help'.
Hanging out on Gramp's roof.
Nathan rappelling down with Daddy.
Disney was exhausting but great. We all went the first day to Animal Kingdom. Sam and Nicholas stayed the night and we hit Lego land the next morning. They then headed back to St. Augustine and Mammy, myself, Ben and Nathan stayed for 3 more days. As small as this world is, we actually ran into some friends (Matt and Layla) from Hagerstown at the Magic Kingdom. How random is that!?
It went as well as could be expected with a 5yr old and 2yr old. They are still talking about it and Nathan says everyday that he wants to go down 'Splash Mountain'. Maybe next year!
Sadly, I really didn't take too many pictures. It was just to crazy!
Wow, Buzz Lightyear!
Enjoying some time with Pluto and Minnie Mouse. This is after Nathan told Pluto to 'SIT', which, he did!

Looks like a wonderful trip :). I want to see more parasailing pictures! I think my favorite picture is the boys at the waffle house. I can just see the little conversation bubbles above their heads "thank goodness we are here!"
