Easter Round up

Along with 90 degree weather, we celebrated Easter this past weekend. On Saturday we attending an Easter party that our Church held at Baker Park. I didn't get very many pictures of them hunting for eggs because it was absolutely CRAZY and over in 5 minutes. We told Ben he could get 10 eggs, mission accomplished in under 20 seconds. Nathan on the other hand was more interested in what was IN the egg vs how many eggs he could collect. He picked up the first egg, sat down and opened it to eat what was inside. Done.

Nicholas hanging out.

Ben enjoyed playing the games and bringing all his prizes back to his brothers.

Nathan and Nicholas ready to hunt.

Is there anything good in here?

The boys eating lunch at their new picnic table Daddy made them.

On Sunday morning we hid eggs downstairs. The same scene unfolded. Nathan sat down and started eating while Ben hunted for eggs. Actually, Nathan is pretty smart. Ben would find the eggs and then put one in his bucket and deliver one to Nathan. Nicholas snoozed through all the fun.

Filling their buckets.

Opening Easter cards from Nana and Papa. Sporting the evidence on his face.

Yummy Candy.

We then had breakfast at our Church, attended service and headed home. It was soooo hot out that the last thing I wanted to do was cook Easter dinner all day in the kitchen. We decided to go for a bike ride instead and then had grilled ham and pasta salad for dinner. There were no complaints.

Now, I've been trying to explain how my little Nicholas who was in the 5th percentile in weight for the first year of his life has 'filled out'. Ok, so he is rockin' the gut. It is hard to capture in photos, but I've tried.
